Someone built a Rubik's Cube solver more complicated than the cube 🤯 #rubikscube #3dprintedrobot

by DrewPScrew

A Rubik's Cube solving robot that turns five of the cube's faces with a single stepper motor and never reorients the cube. A servo shifts the motor between gear engagements; shafts and bevel gears carry the rotation to each face. It scans the cube with a camera, computes a solution and solves it in about 30 seconds. Deliberately overengineered: one motor instead of six, just to see how far the constraint goes. Designed, 3D printed and programmed from scratch by Eldho Biju.
